Seated in an upright posture with hands positioned on arm rests.
Procedure
Push your hands/arms down into the arm rests lifting your buttocks up from the chair.
Coaching Keys
You don’t come all the way to standing but rather lift the buttocks out of the chair. Remember to use the legs as little as possible to raise the buttocks.
How It Should Feel
Maintaining the upright posture will require some core stability which you will feel through your trunk. The move is largely a functional move targeting the arms (mostly triceps) and core.
