Standing feet approximately shoulder width apart with the weighted object in front of you at about 16″
This move consists of what we term a LPPR (“lipper”) or Lift, Pivot, Place, Return. Squat to Lift the item, Pivot then Place the item at an overhead position and then Return.
Be aware of not rotating your back but rather pivot your body to move/lift the item into a diagonal position. You want to make sure you keep your back in a neutral position during this and all lifting type moves.
How It Should Feel
The move is a compound movement that may feel mechanical or robotic when performing the Pivot portion correctly.
