Standing in an upright posture with feet approximately shoulder width apart.
Procedure
Start by taking a step forward and placing the foot squarely on the ground. Once the foot is stable, continue forward into a lunging posture and return to the starting position.

If you feel unsteady, use a pole, PVC or stick to help with balance and support.
How It Should Feel
You should feel this exercise in the buttocks and legs. The movement should be smooth and sure.
