Nathaniel Goodwin
Clinic Director - PT, DPT, TPI
Nathaniel was raised in Huntersville, North Carolina, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he also competed for the Seahawks’ nationally ranked Division I soccer team. His journey into physical therapy began after undergoing knee surgery and extensive rehabilitation during his collegiate soccer career—an experience that inspired his dedication to helping others recover and return to the activities they love.
In 2019, Nathaniel earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem StateUniversity. He holds certifications in Dry Needling, Advanced Manual Therapy, Cupping, and Blood Flow Restriction Training. He also brings valuable experience in personal
training for athletes. As a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified provider, he specializes in assessing and treating golf-specific injuries, optimizing movement, and enhancing strength and performance for golfers of all levels.
He is also a certified Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!Moves) therapist and leads the Knockout Parkinson’s Boxing Program at Movement for Life—a high-intensity, evidence-based training program designed to improve balance, posture, and overall movement quality for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.
Outside of the clinic, Nathaniel enjoys traveling, staying active through sports, and
spending time with his wife and their golden retriever, Remi.
