Lifting for Life

Lifting for Life is a program of classes developed and led by a physical therapist and focused on safe strengthening for those 60 and up.

Great for beginners and experienced lifters to build strength and endurance, feel confident utilizing weights in your own exercise routine, and facilitate healthy bone density. Learn progressive workouts with modifications tailored to each student. Build on skills learned each week. 

 

Details:

  • Classes focused on safe strengthening for those 60 and up. 

  • 10 classes for $150 or $20 drop-in

  • Introduction to each movement with specific modifications and instructions tailored to each weightlifter

  • Progressive workouts utilizing new movements and building on new skills learned each week

  • Great for beginners and experienced lifters

  • Build strength and endurance, feel confident to utilize weights in your own exercise routine safely, facilitate healthy bone density

  • Distancing and masks are required in a healthcare setting and made possible with our large and well-equipped clinic
